The symptoms of a yeast infection can literally be dozens of different symptoms because a yeast infections can cause problems with so many body organs and functions.
The symptoms can also mimic other diseases and conditions, making it hard to diagnose unless you find someone who has experience with this type of problem.
However, there is also a simple test you can do to help you find out whether you have a yeast infection and we will explain the procedure later.
First of all, many women think a yeast infection involves their vagina, and though it may produce intense symptoms in that area, that is not where the problem usually begins.
The yeast infection usually spreads from the digestive system to the vagina and other areas of the body.
Something that upsets intestinal bacteria balance in a big way can cause yeast infection. The most common cause is powerful prescription drugs, especially antibiotics.
The reason is that the antibiotics kill not only the bad bacteria, but also the good ones. This can set the stage for bad bacteria and candida yeast to take over the digestive system. Over time, this yeast infection spreads to other parts of the body.
Since the vagina is warm and moist like the digestive system, it provides an ideal environment for a yeast infection.
That means you have to reestablish good bacteria balance in your digestive system to eliminate the yeast problem.
The problem though with most yeast infection remedies is that they are only a temporary solution. For example, a douche with something that kills yeast may give temporary relief but the problem returns.
Or if you are male, you may get some cream to deal with jock itch, but the problem also returns.
Also, some people go to a medical doctor and get a prescription for antibiotics.
This situation ends up the same way - you kill yeast and good and bad bacteria but then the bad bacteria and yeast return and take control again. That's why many people end up with a recurring yeast problem.
You need to kill the yeast and bad bacteria but you also need to reestablish proper intestinal balance so the problem doesn't return.
Also, it's a good idea to periodically use a powerful probitic to main paper intestinal balance after you eliminate the yeast to make sure the problem never returns, especially if you don't have a real healthy lifestyle or take prescription drugs or prescription hormones, such as birth control or HRT, which are synthetic hormones.
The symptoms of a yeast infection do not usually happen over night. The problem may begin when you are taking antibiotics, but it starts slowly and gets progressively worse.
Over time many symptoms appear and others may keep getting worse.
Two common symptoms are jock itch and vaginal itching and discharge.
There are many more possibilities since a yeast infection upsets body balance so badly.
Also, when systems aren't working properly, other symptoms can appear.
For example, a chronic yeast infection can cause hormone imbalance.
Then you can add hormone imbalance symptoms to the list of possible symptoms of a yeast infection. The original cause is the yeast infection and then you end up with symptoms of hormone imbalance on top of the symptoms of a yeast infection.
You can also end up with blood sugar problems because a yeast infection interferes badly with digestion and can cause sensitivities to carbohydrates because the carbohydrates encourage yeast growth - yeast loves carbohydrates.
A blood sugar problem can be hyperglycemia (high blood sugar or diabetes) or hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia can have similar symptoms and cause energy crashes during the day, especially the afternoon.
Hypoglycemia is very common with a yeast infection.
So, if you suspect a yeast infection, deal with it right away because as time goes by, it drags your health down more and more causing all kinds of problems leading to premature aging and very serious health issues.
It can also cause organ failure over time and remember, you need to not only get rid of symptoms of a yeast infection naturally, you also want to reestablish good bacteria to keep the yeast under control, so you never have a yeast problem again.
First thing in the morning, before eating or drinking anything, work up a mouthful of saliva and spit into a clear glass 3/4 full of water.
Check it in 20-30 minutes.
If you have a yeast problem, you will see stringlike tentacles hanging down into the water from the saliva floating on the top, or “cloudy” saliva will sink to the bottom of the glass, or cloudy specks will seem to be suspended in the water.
If there are no strings and the saliva is still floating after one hour, you probably don't have a yeast problem.
